Sponge profiles are used in places where merits of siloxane polymers (such as low temperature elasticity, heat resistance, UV and ozone resistance, and electrical completeness) are required. In addition, the special-shaped sponge has the advantages of light weight, good cushioning performance and heat insulation. The light weight of the special-shaped sponge determines that it needs less information. In today's fiercely competitive and demanding market, the special-shaped sponge can actually reduce the cost compared with synthetic rubber. Traditional silicone sponges can be consumed by adding evolutionary foaming agents to rubber. During vulcanization, heat can make the foaming agent synthesized, resulting in bubbles trapped in rubber, which constitutes the foam cell of sponge. These traditional foaming agents can produce toxic by-products.
